Surgical orthodontics, also known as ‘orthognathic surgery’, is undertaken in combination with braces. This is reserved for severe cases, correcting deficiencies of jaw growth, when aligners or braces alone will not resolve the problem a patient may face with their bite and smile. If Dr. Markey feels your case requires this kind of care, he will liaise with your General Dentist and an Oral Surgeon to ensure you receive the best possible care. To undertake this combined approach we wait for growth to be complete, which is typically around the age of 16 for girls and 18 for boys.

Me and my two kids have been patients of Three Leaf and Dr Markey for 8 years now and haven’t had anything but positive experiences.From the uber friendly and -more importantly- qualified and professional staff, clean and modern office, scheduling and appointment availability, urgent need for help, to the wonderful Dr himself, who is the most energetic and positive person I haw ever met.Results have been great with orthodontics for kids, teenagers and adult, using traditional brackets, Invisalign and everything in between, and while I can’t say I look forward to seeing them (He is a dentist after all ;), none of us mind going there for our exams, treatment and checks because it’s always a positive experience.

As an adult who did not want to get my teeth fixed because I knew it would be a long and embarrassing process, I am SO happy I decided to come here! I was actually on the fence about making this review because I want to gatekeep my orthodontist but alas, I have chosen to do the right thing. Dr Markey and the staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met! They make the experience a thousand times better than it would have been if I’d gone somewhere else on this journey. Your treatment is explained in simple detail from day one. The front desk girl is so sweet and making appointments are simple and easy to get in. All the staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Dr Markey checks in with me every time I visit before I leave and always explains to me what’s going on and what to expect. The price is very reasonable and not to mention there are payment plans! I love this practice. The atmosphere is amazing and the orthodontist is brilliant . My oldest daughter had her braces at a different practice and I wish I knew about three leaf back then. Three leaf provides excellent care. It’s super clean. Absolutely the best. Their teeth look so good. The Invisalign on my youngest is turning out wonderfully.
